What happens when you get a fashion blogger in front of your camera in one of the most gorgeous places you've seen? You create some memorable moments. I'm far from a fashion photographer, but working with Titi at both The Ringling in Sarasota and the beachfront in Siesta Key's was amazing. She's is truly a natural in front of the camera and makes working with her a blast. If you are into fashion and just a colorful lovely photos, you should definitely be following her on Instagram. She's amazing at what she does. Also big Thank You to her husband Fola of FotosByFola for recommending me for the shoot.

Courtney + Brandon | The Reason I Smile! | Midtown | Atlanta, GA

Sometimes luck and faith are in my favor and with Courtney and Brando it definitely was one of those very few times. I met Courtney in Tallahassee during my senior year at FSU through some mutual friends. How exactly we met is still a blur to the both of us, but somehow we met. After we graduated and adulthood started giving use both a run for our money, we lost contact with one another and seven years later I get a random call from a frantic bride to be at the airport wanting to book me for her wedding after her initially photographer backed out. Safe to say it was a welcomed surprise to me during our initial conversation when she said, "I went to FAMU and I feel like I know you." That's the short version of the long story.

These two are literally the perfect fit for each other. Their personalities and goofiness perfectly mesh with each other. They are like the missing piece to each other's puzzle. Taking their very last minute engagement/save the date pictures was a task in itself, but a very enjoyable one.

It was such a pleasure working with Amber + Brandon. There session wasn't an engagement session or an anniversary session, just a couple that wanted some updated photos to celebrate their forever love! Since Corona got us all locked in the house for at least the next month or so, I've decided that April of 2020 will the month I play catch up with some of my favorite couples and sessions from 2019. I've really been neglecting this section of website, but I have nothing but time right now so we are going to rectify this issue.

It's their anniversary! Well it was their anniversary month when we took these photos. I've known Merline since our undergraduate days at FSU, so running on almost 8 years of friendship now. And if you're new to the blog section on my site you can see the last session I had with these two when Merline graduate with her master degree here! Two things I know for sure about this little lady here is that she loves her some Owen (their dog) and Pete. Since this session they now engaged and I can't wait for their 2021 wedding. This session was a warmup for their engagement session coming later in 2020.

Kelly + Tavaghn | An Atlanta Love Tale | Atlanta Beltline

Kelly and Tavaghn were AMAZING to work with, their chemistry and love for one another was like nothing I’ve ever seen. They were referred to me by my good friend Sophy of Sophia Barrett Studios (She's also the GOAT of maternity sessions) and when I first met with them, I was a little worried. During their initial consultation they told me that everything they were doing was going to be a surprise to their friends and families. Except for the ones that really needed to know. These two literally planned a surprise engagement session and wedding. So this post is clearly coming after both the engagement session and wedding, but just know that these two were one of my favorite couples in 2019. Nyeda + Malcom | Tears of Joy! | Bella Collina | Montverde, FL

Nyeda and Malcom had the most beautiful wedding at Bella Collina in Montverde, Fl. They cried, their friends cried, their families and cried and they celebrated, partied a little and cried some more. It was a such an emotional wedding and thankfully I had the pleasure of capturing it all for these two love birds.

Their chemistry and love for one another is nothing shy of amazing and these two are a perfect fit. I was under the impression that I saw their best during their engagement session, but little did I know that that was only the tip of the iceberg. They brought even more energy and personality to their wedding day and their friends and family made sure it was a night they would never forget.

At the time of their engagement session, I have known Nyeda and Malcom for about 6-7 years. I met them during different stages of their lives and the universe has away of working things out. When Nyeda contacted me about photographing both their engagement session and wedding I had no either that her fiancé was Malcom, proving that the world is a very small place.

Fallon + Kenndy : Old School Love!

So about this blog thing! I've been slacking really really bad.

No point bringing up the past, just have to do better going forward and I don't know a better couple to start with then Fallon and Kennedy (KG) aka The Granted Ones. I have had the pleasure of knowing KG since my undergraduate days at The Florida State University and meet his then girlfriend Fallon after I moved to Atlanta in 2015. At this point (currently 2019) I've photographed their engagement, wedding, maternity and family photos. So they are the prime example of friends, turned clients and are now family.

Being that I have been slacking on the blog, this one is going to be jammed packed, so enjoy these photos!

Damaris + Kersaint : It's Love!

In November I went down to Miami to photograph these two love birds and on Friday (June 8th, 2018) I get to watch them say I do.
This wedding is special to me because Didi (Damaris) is like a little sister to me, I met her during her freshman year at Florida State and something about her spirit draws you to her. Didi is one of the sweetest souls that I have had the opportunity to meet so far in my life, so it came as no surprise to me that when I finally met Kersaint, that he was pretty much an amazing guy as well. They are literally the perfect match and their personalities were on full display during their session. We started their session in Miami Gardens and ended up at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!

Looking forward to this flight down to Ft. Lauderdale to watch these two become one in front of family and friends. Their wedding will be a mini reunion for all the friends from college and I'm excited.

Santana + Chris : Love in St. Augustine!

Drove down to St. Augustine, Florida to work with these two amazing people and it was AMAZING.

Santana was pretty laid and wanted nothing more than to have a great time with her family and friends on her wedding day and Chris just wanted to make sure Santana kept a smile on her face the whole day. They brought the chemistry, great friends and a great time. And not to outshine their parents, their kids were pretty amazing as well, stealing hearts with both charm and dance moves.

Here's to Santana and Chris!

SPOILER: I actually never met with nor spoke to these two until the day of their wedding so literally I was praying and hoping that our personalities would match and it really did.

When Lauren reached out to me about her wedding, I was pretty blow away. She reached out to me about photographing one of her most special day without seeing a single wedding photograph taken by me. A year before she reached out to me, I took graduation pictures for one of her friends at UGA (HERE) and after seeing those pictures she decided to email me about her wedding. Crazy right?

After meeting with Lauren and her mother and getting a feel for who she was behind the emails I immediately knew I was going to photograph her wedding. She was my ideal client, laid back, fun, very much in love and excited about the journey to her wedding day.

Rolanda + Daniel : When A Seminole Loves a Gator!

So I went to DC!

I had the opportunity to take my talents to the nation's capital to capture the love between Rolanda and Daniel. Prior to their engagement session, I had the opportunity to accompany these two on a hot air ballon ride on the outskirts of D.C. and capture Daniel proposing to Rolanda the day before this session. Shooting around D.C. with these two was a pretty amazing experience especially since they had an entourage with them, both had family and close friends fly in to celebrate with them.

Back story on these two and how I ended up in DC with them. Daniel happens to be an alumni of the greatest university ever, The Florida State University (FSU), home of the Seminoles and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and Rolanda happens to be an alumni of the University of Florida and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Daniel and I attended FSU at around the same time, but never officially met, he was graduating while I was starting my undergraduate career. During the course of my undergraduate studies, my circle of friends somehow ended up being his circle of friends and we ended becoming friends ourselves. Throughout our friendship, he has seen my work and little did I know became a fan and five years later I'm in DC capturing his love story.

Marsha + Paul : Love Meant to Be!

So I have a thing for warm weather and sunny beaches, so when Suze reached out to me about shooting her cousin's wedding on Miami Beach it was like God answering my hearts deepest prayers. Marsha and Paul said I do in front of family and friends and a few hundred strangers on the beach, followed by a lovely reception where they danced and celebrated their love.

This wedding was filled with good times, laughter and emotions and after hearing the back story that lead to them choosing love it all makes sense. There were a few times I had to catch my composure and remember that I'm suppose to capture it all. At the first touch, when Paul first saw Marsha coming down the aisle and during the speeches.

Between laughter, tears, good food and lots of kompa it's safe to say that Marsha and Paul had a wedding for the ages.

Whenever I receive inquires from good friends to photograph their wedding, my heart smiles. Photographing friends always does something special to my spirit and continues to show me that I made the right decision in choosing this career path.

Long story short, met Kimberly in during my undergraduate years at FSU and we kept in touch since meeting and little did I know she had her eyes on my work since then. There isn't much more that I can say about the Haynes Family, they started as clients become friends and now I consider them family.
It is always a pleasure photographing them and watching Calix grow up and this session was no different, well just a little. Calix was not feeling all that well, but still managed to get some great shot from the session.

Morikami Japanese Museum Maternity Session | Jeff + Yola

While in Orlando for the holidays, I took a trip down to South Florida to spend some time with Jeff and Yola.
I met Jeff during our college days since he was the DJ at most of the parties I attended. Fast forward five years, I run into him at two weddings where he was the DJ and I was the photographer. We exchanged information for networking purposes and little did I know a few months later I would be taking pictures of him and his wife as they expect their newest bundle of joy. We started at Morikami Museum in Boca Raton and ended in a lovely neighborhood in Boca.

Barbara + Willems : Leu Gardens Engagement

Barbara is the eldest sister of one of my closest friend, so when they selected me to be their photographer for their pre-wedding and wedding I truly felt honored.
These two met at their church where Willems caught the Barbara's eye will playing the bass in the church's band. Since their initial date, Willems has been serenading Barbara with both his musical talent and love.
We started their session at Harry P Leu Gardens in Winter Park where I let them just be them and finished up in lovely Downtown Orlando.

Mary Katrine + Ty : Georgia Freight Depot Love Tale

Earlier this year Mary Katrine and Ty tied the knot and I got invited!
Ty is in a band and Mary Katrine at the time was sorority girl at The University of Georgia and the two appeared to be complete opposites, but as the saying goes, "Opposites Attract". The two met after a mutual friend set them up on Memorial Day five years ago and after a bumpy start and four years of long distance dating, faith would have it that five years later we bare witness to them becoming husband and wife.

The two celebrated their union at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot on the perfect day. The weather held up beautifully, family and friends started making their way to the venue and the two were filled with excitement. Only thing that was left them to do was to walk down the aisle and say, "I Do!"

Emilia + Shayeon Celebrate Love in Puerto Rico!

On our final day (Links to Day 1 + Day 2) of our Puerto Rico getaway, the weather God's had mercy on us. It was the ideal weather to capture the beauty found in Old San Juan. The day started with us walking through the city, then headed to Castillo San Felipe del Morro (El Morro) and ended back in the streets of Old San Juan. A wonderful ending to an amazing trip with an amazing couple.

Emilia and Shayeon were a joy to work with, they had a vision and trusted in my abilities to achieve that vision. Looking forward to the Five Year Anniversary!

Seeing Old San Juan With The Hawkins!

Day #2 with Emilia and Shayeon was spent doing a little sight seeing around Old San Juan with the occasional stop for photo opp.
The day started off with brunch at Carthage Express, which I must say is one of coolest restaurants I've been to in while. If you are ever in Old San Juan, HIGHLY recommend you stop by.
From the restaurant we walked to see some of the more popular spots around town and got to meet a few amazing folks.

Exploring El Yunque With The Hawkins!

A few months ago I was blessed to get an invite to Puerto Rico to photograph The Hawkins as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary and it was a trip like no other.
Our first day on this adventure started with a very adventurous drive up the mountain to get to El Yunque, Puerto Rico's tropical rainforest. Once we reached our destination we took quick hike down to one of the many waterfalls in the rainforest.
Hiking through the rainforest was a first for me and was definitely worth it, the views were breathtaking and a little exercise never hurts.

I've had the pleasure of working with Ms. Bonhomme in the past and as before it was a pleasure to work with her again for this amazing achievement.

Isaiah Floyd Downtown Orlando Professional Session

It's always a pleasure to shoot friends and have them return and trust you with their vision.
I have know Mr. Floyd since our undergraduate time at Florida State University and have been blessed to capture some important moments in his journey. When he found out I was visiting Orlando and reached out to me to capture some shots of him in Downtown Orlando it was a no brainer for me.

Orlando Maternity Session | Molly + Alex

Today we take a trip down memory lane back to last year for Molly and Alex's maternity session in Orlando, FL to celebrate baby Calix's first birthday.
This weekend still goes down as the busiest of my career, I shot her baby shower, wedding and maternity in the same same weekend that also happened to be Mother's Day Weekend.
